The Student Human Resources Department (SHRD) is a structural subdivision of the university responsible for a wide range of tasks related to managing and supporting the student body.

The main functions of the SHRD include:

  • Maintaining students’ personal records: processing, storing, and updating documents related to each student’s education.
  • Preparing orders for personnel matters: issuing orders for enrollment, expulsion, transfer, reinstatement, and other changes in students’ status.
  • Military registration: keeping records of students subject to military registration and interacting with military enlistment offices.
  • Issuing certificates and documents: providing certificates of education, copies of documents on previous education, and other necessary documents upon students’ request.

Accounting for and issuing state-standard documents: providing students with diplomas, their supplements, and other official educational documents.

The Human Resources Department is a structural subdivision of the higher education institution “International Medical University ‘Avicenna’”.

The department operates in accordance with the current legislation of the Kyrgyz Republic, local regulatory acts of the University, decisions of the Academic Council and the Rector’s office of the University, orders and directives of the Rector and Vice Rectors of the University.

The Human Resources Department is established, reorganized, and dissolved by the Rector’s order in accordance with the University’s charter.

The department reports to the Rector.

The main tasks of the Human Resources Department include:

  • forming the University’s personnel potential to meet modern needs;
  • recruiting and placing scientific-pedagogical, engineering-technical, production, educational-support, administrative-management, and other personnel in collaboration with heads of the University’s structural subdivisions, in accordance with the staffing schedule;
  • ensuring documentation management on personnel issues in accordance with current legislation and the university’s local regulatory acts;
  • implementing measures to strengthen labor and production discipline within the University;
  • ensuring compliance with labor legislation norms of the Kyrgyz Republic in personnel matters.
