Dean’s Office

The MMU “Avicenna” Dean’s Office is aimed at ensuring the successful adaptation of international students in both the academic and cultural spheres, as well as providing them with a quality education that meets the requirements of medical practice. It strives to create a supportive and inspiring educational environment that promotes the development of students’ professional skills and their successful integration into the global medical community.

Main goals of the Dean’s Office:
Providing students with quality medical education that meets international standards and requirements.
Providing support on academic and administrative issues.
Creating opportunities for professional development and practical training of students.
Promoting improved intercultural understanding and interaction between students and the Dean’s Office staff.

Main tasks of the Dean’s Office:
Adaptation of international students: Assisting new students in adapting to academic and social life in Kyrgyzstan, including accommodation issues, familiarization with the culture, and university rules.

Accompanying the academic process: Organization and coordination of the academic activity of international students, monitoring attendance, consulting on academic matters, scheduling classes, and course selection.
Educational support: Conducting activities aimed at helping students acquire medical knowledge in English.
Counseling and support: Providing consultations on academic, adaptation, health, and other aspects of student life.
Event organization: Holding cultural, educational, and social events for the integration of international students into the university and local communities.
Post-graduation support: Providing graduates with necessary documents for further education and maintaining connections with them through the Alumni Association.

Goal:

Creating conditions for students to develop a wide range of professional competencies and reliably master clinical skills without risk to patient health. The simulation training center participates in the implementation of the State Educational Standard of Higher Professional Education. In the center, students master manual and clinical skills using modern simulation technologies. To accelerate the adaptation of young specialists in medical institutions and ensure timely qualified medical care to patients, students, under the guidance of instructors, prepare for practical and scientific activities.

Tasks:
Organization of academic and scientific-methodological work at a high level, aimed at mastering regulated professional knowledge and skills in students that meet the State Educational Standards of Higher Professional Education of the Kyrgyz Republic.

Providing students with the necessary material, technical, and methodological resources for mastering professional skills using simulators, simulations, and game methods.

Conducting classes on mastering professional skills, current and intermediate certification, as well as final state certification of students.
Implementation of postgraduate and additional professional education programs.
