The Administrative and Economic Division ensures the activities of the International Medical University “Avicenna” (IMU “Avicenna”) by:
- technical maintenance of buildings, premises, equipment (heating systems, water supply, ventilation, electrical networks, etc.);
- planning, organizing, and controlling their current and capital repairs;
- providing furniture and household equipment;
- security.
Exercises organizational and methodological guidance and control over the activities of the IMU “Avicenna” structural divisions in matters of economic service, rational use of material and financial resources, and preservation of the organization’s property.
Prepares and submits to the leadership of IMU “Avicenna” reports on the status and prospects for the development of economic support activities of IMU “Avicenna”, and develops proposals for improving the AE service.
Improves and implements new methods of work organization, including the use of modern information technologies.
Participates in the preparation and implementation of management decisions by leadership on issues of administrative and economic support for the activities of IMU “Avicenna”.
Within its competence, monitors compliance with sanitary and anti-epidemic standards, fire safety rules, safety regulations, and timely takes necessary measures when violations are detected.
Conducts the introduction of necessary documentation as provided by current normative legal acts, and provides statistical and other information about AE activities within established deadlines.
Plans, organizes, and controls the administrative and economic support of the university’s activities.
Ensures economic service and proper condition in accordance with the rules and norms of industrial sanitation and fire protection for buildings and premises where the university’s divisions are located, and monitors the serviceability of the equipment (lighting, heating systems, ventilation, etc.).
Participates in the inventory of buildings, premises, equipment to control their preservation and technical condition.
Plans current and capital repairs of major assets (buildings, water supply systems, air ducts, and other facilities), and prepares estimates for economic expenses.
Repairs premises and controls the quality of repair works carried out.
Provides university divisions with furniture and household equipment, controls their rational use, preservation, and timely repair.
Prepares necessary documents for concluding contracts for carrying out works and providing services by third-party organizations.
Handles the receipt and storage of office supplies, household materials, equipment, and inventory, provides them to structural divisions of IMU “Avicenna”, accounts their expenditure, and compiles established reports.
Controls the rational use of materials and financial resources allocated for economic purposes.
Engages in landscaping, greening, and cleaning of the territory.
Conducts economic service for organized meetings, conferences, seminars, and other events.
Organizes transport support for the university’s activities.
In accordance with the current rules and regulations of IMU “Avicenna”, operates and timely repairs technical equipment (electric networks, heating systems, ventilation, etc.), ensures the uninterrupted supply of buildings and premises of the organization with electricity, heat, gas, water, and controls their rational use.
Organizes and ensures access control.
Organizes and controls the activities of administrative and economic service warehouses.
Conducts informational and explanatory work among employees and students aimed at ensuring the preservation and proper condition of buildings, premises, and property, careful use of equipment, and economical use of material and energy resources (electricity, heat, water, office supplies, consumables, etc.).
Conducts fire safety and anti-epidemic measures.
Performs other functions within its competence in accordance with the goals and objectives of IMU “Avicenna”.
