Vice-Rector for Scientific Work and State Language

Vice-Rector for Scientific Work and State Language:

– Conducts work on the development of the state language, in accordance with the Regulation on the National Commission on the State Language of the Kyrgyz Republic;

– Leads research activities, ensures compliance with legality, state discipline in terms of research activities;

– Organizes the development and implementation of research work under contracts with organizations and institutions;

– Promotes competent document management in the state language in departments, offices, and faculties of the university;

– Works to improve the quality of writing course papers, diploma works, and master’s theses in educational plans of educational standards in the state language;

– Develops an annual work plan for the development of the state language (competitions, exhibitions, cultural events, etc.);

– Requires conducting the work of the university in the state language;

– Organizes the development, translation, and management of educational materials, methodological manuals, educational-methodological complexes in the state language and more;

– Participates in organizing student extracurricular activities and holding curator hours with students on the state language, culture, and traditions of the Kyrgyz people;

– Facilitates the development and implementation of the university’s development policy and strategy, the implementation of the Academic Council’s decisions and rector’s assignments, expansion of external ties, operational activities of deans and department heads, and enhancing the university’s prestige;

– Participates in meetings of the rectorate, Academic Council, faculty councils, and methodological commissions;

– Heads the university’s publishing activities. Provides overall guidance for students’ research work and the editorial-publishing council;

– Oversees the conduct of competitions for the best research works of university teachers and students;

– Plans and implements activities to improve the scientific qualifications of the university’s teaching staff;

– Organizes the preparation of scientific personnel through doctoral, postgraduate, residency programs, and research pursuit;

– Controls the preparation for the publication of scientific works by the university’s academic staff;

– Analyzes regulatory and legal documents on the scientific support of the export of educational services by educational institutions of the Republic;

– Organizes student educational-practical conferences;

– Formally presents proposals for rewarding university employees for contributing to the successful completion of research work.
