At Avicenna International Medical University, the International Medical Olympiad and Med-Expo 2026 were successfully held, bringing together students from higher education institutions.

The event served as a significant platform for demonstrating the professional knowledge, practical skills, and innovative thinking of future medical specialists. Participants had the opportunity not only to assess their competencies but also to exchange experience, establish academic connections, and present modern approaches in medicine.

The Olympiad was conducted in three stages:

Stage I – Theoretical, during which participants demonstrated their level of fundamental knowledge in medical disciplines;
Stage II – Practical, aimed at assessing clinical thinking and hands-on patient care skills;
Stage III – Innovative, where teams presented original projects, modern solutions, and technological developments in the field of medicine.

In parallel with the Olympiad, the Med-Expo 2026 exhibition was organized, where participants presented innovative developments, research projects, and achievements in the fields of healthcare and medical education.

Holding such events contributes to improving the quality of medical education, developing students’ scientific potential, and strengthening international cooperation.
