The department of Surgery is a dedicated & developed department. It not only delivers knowledge and skill to undergraduate & post graduate medical students but also inculcates in them an empathetic attitude & dense of responsibility through a pre-defined curriculum. The Department has a strong network that traverses outpatient rooms, surgical wards, emergency wards and operation theaters. The department is well recognized by AIMU for undergraduate training.

Department transfers information to students not only by lectures & ward training but also arranges short group discussions, symposia, seminars & internet facilities to develop them into an independent & self-motivated adult learner.
