This is an essential domain of undergraduate learning as the students are likely to come across diseases of ear, nose and throat frequently, once they become qualified clinicians.

The course starts during the third year MBBS, which includes, tutorials and discussions, observing patients and basics of ENT including anatomy, Physiology, Pathology and clinical methods are taught during fourth year MBBS, main emphasis is on ENT diseases with relation to clinical methods, different diagnostic modalities and treatment protocol.

Students are also encouraged to attend the operation theatre for directly observing a wide variety of common surgical procedures like tonsillectomy, adenoidectomy, mastoidectomy and correction of deviated nasal septum.
